Azure Arc Jumpstart ArcBox

Azure Arc Jumpstart ArcBox

You might have seen my blog about the Azure Arc Jumpstart project, which is a great way to start your hybrid and multi-cloud journey. In this blog post, we are going to have a look at the Azure Arc Jumpstart ArcBox. The ArcBox is a sandbox environment that allows you to explore the major capabilities of Azure Arc.

In the latest episode of Azure Unblogged, I am chatting to Dale Kirby Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft about the Azure Arc Jumpstart ArcBox.

In this episode of Azure Unblogged, Thomas Maurer speaks with Dale Kirby about the Jumpstart ArcBox project. The ArcBox project provides an easy to deploy sandbox for all things Azure Arc. ArcBox is designed to be completely self-contained within a single Azure subscription and resource group, which will make it easy for a user to get hands-on with all available Azure Arc technology with nothing more than an available Azure subscription.

You can watch the video here or on Channel 9

ArcBox is a sandbox environment that allows users to explore all the major capabilities of Azure Arc. Deploying ArcBox is simple and fully automated, and the only prerequisite is an Azure subscription. Once deployed, users have a ready-to-go sandbox for exploring Azure Arc enabled servers, Kubernetes, data services, and more.

ArcBox also comes with a set of pre-installed tools to make it easy to explore Azure Arc capabilities quickly and without hassle. With one simple deployment, users have everything they need to play with Azure Arc.
