I can’t believe that it is 30 years since the first Microsoft OS server release. The first version I worked with was Windows NT 4.0. Since then I have been working with all versions.

Sometimes it is good to look back on a business that evolves all the time

How old are you? I am almost 60 and I want to share my story. I live in Venezuela and at the end of the nineties (1995-1998) I only new Netware Server like file server. In my country Netware was the king for companies. Then I read a magazine (I believe 1996-1997) talking about WINDOWS NT 4.0 SERVER and its big reception for clients. I saw some technical specifications and I thought something like a user friendly server, from Microsoft with Windows GUI that works as a file server, as a workstation and more is going to change the industry. It happened, Netware died as leader I felt some enthusiasm to learn the product (no job for me with with Windows NT 4.0) that I decided certified me with MCSE and change my career and it also happened. I am certified with Windows NT 4.0 Server since 1998 and I have been happy working with Microsoft Products sinde 25 years ago.
Greetings, Armando Lopez
